Hope
Confident expectation in God’s promises.

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Romans 15:13, KJV
Hope.
It is our confident expectation in God’s promises.
When we believe that we are saved, we are filled with joy and a feeling of peace that truly surpasses all understanding.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”
1 Peter 1:3, KJV
We received this hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is called the "firstfruits" to signify that his resurrection is the initial, guaranteed promise of future resurrection for believers.
And this is exactly what we are hoping for.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jeremiah 29:11, KJV
God’s thoughts toward us are of peace, and not of evil.
If we put our faith and trust in Him, He will give us an expected end.
Let’s hold on to these promises given to us.
May the name of our Lord be blessed forever.
I hope you were blessed by today’s message.
I wish you a wonderful rest of your day.
Reflection:
How does remembering God’s promises give you strength during difficult times?
In what practical ways can you share hope with others around you?
Prayer Suggestion:
”Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being the God of hope and for filling me with joy and peace through faith in You. Remind me daily of Your promises and help me to trust Your plans for my life. Strengthen my heart so I may live with confident expectation in Your goodness, and let me be a source of hope to those in need.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
